Free Entry to Newhaven Museum

Become a member of Newhaven Historical Society and you will be entitled to free entry to Newhaven Museum.

Newhaven Museum houses hundreds of objects and stories from Newhaven’s social, industrial, military and maritime past, as well as over 20,000 photographs, some dating back as far as 1860.

Membership will also entitle you to free entry to Seaford Museum, so sign up today!

Free Entry to our Heritage Talks

Each year we create a programme of five interesting heritage talks on Newhaven and the surrounding area. Visitors are always welcome (admission £5). As a member you will receive free entry to all of the year’s talks making a saving of £25!

All talks are held at the Hillcrest Centre.

Alongside the talk we also bring our shop with us, which includes an interesting selection of books, small gifts, the latest edition of Newhaven Times as well as back copies.

The Journal of Newhaven Historical Society

Newhaven Times is packed full of interesting articles and snippets on the history of Newhaven and the surrounding area.

Newhaven Times is published 4 times a year and can be purchased for £2 each. Don’t miss a journal by taking out an annual subscription. For just £10 a year, you can have the journal delivered to your door.
