The Newhaven Historical Society holds a small group of items historically associated with the Marine Art Society (GB). As part of our ongoing collections‑management work, the society intends to formalise legal title to this material.
Anyone who believes they have a prior claim to any of these items, or who holds information relevant to their ownership, is invited to contact the Society Secretary by email at newhavenhistory.secretary@gmail.com or in writing to The Secretary, Newhaven Museum, Paradise Park, Avis Way, Newhaven BN9 0DH. Correspondence must be received within 90 days of the date of this notice, 4th September 2026.
After this period, and in the absence of any substantiated claim, the museum will proceed to regularise title in accordance with accepted museum practice.
