Newhaven Heritage Stories has been working with local people to explore and celebrate the everyday lives of those who grew up in Newhaven between the 1950s and 1980s. From childhood and school days to work and going out, this exhibition presents some of the memories and keep sakes of the second workshop group which took place between June and July this year.

For younger visitors, or those who are young at heart, there is a trail around the exhibition. You can also enjoy some craft activities and share your own Newhaven memories.

Newhaven Museum is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11am-4pm. Entry is free between 5th and 19th September otherwise our usual charges apply (£3 for adults. Children under 16 go free). For full details see our Visit Us page.
